Why fuss with transportation to Cu Chi Tunnels when you can travel there in style?
Let’s leave the center of Ho Chi Minh City, cruise along the Saigon River with a speedboat and head to a historic place, Cu Chi Tunnels. It is surely an adventurous learning experience but believe us, it will be worth it. Onboard, you will be able to see how Saigon has been growing with many skyscrapers rising up from the ground, and how other parts of it is left behind – a bold contrast that illustrates Vietnam as a developing country.
Served as the shelter and base of operations of the Vietnamese soldiers during the war, the man-made Cu Chi Tunnels offer lots of interesting stories. The Vietnam War was a dark time, but learning about it will make you admire the present much more.
Itinerary:
7:30 AM: Pick-up at Prague Hotel lobby and transfer to Tan Cang Pier by minivan
8:00 AM: Depart to the Cu Chi Tunnels by luxury speedboat. While aboard, enjoy a light breakfast of a Pat-a-chou snack with Lavie bottled water and local fruits. You can now enjoy the fresh air and understand the life of citizens living along the river banks.

9:15 AM: Arrive in Cu Chi
- Explore your excursion by watching a documentary about one of the most sophisticated man-made tunnels together with its extraordinary wartime legends;
- Walk in the jungle and visit the traps, the secret entrances, the bunkers and underground hideouts;
- Try shooting real guns at the rifle range in Cu Chi (tour price is exclusive of bullets);
- See rice paper and rice wine production line;
- Crawl into the tunnels and enjoy the special feelings;
- Take a rest, drink green tea and have tapioca – the main food served during wartime.

1:00 PM: Come to Tan Cang resort and enjoy a Vietnamese traditional lunch with 7 courses.
2:00 PM: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish the interesting trip.
